Install NikahNoor as an App

Save NikahNoor to your Home Screen and open it like a normal app faster access, full-screen experience, and private rishta search on iPhone, Android, and desktop.

iPhone & iPad (Safari)

Apple requires Safari for “Add to Home Screen”.

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to nikahnoor.com and log in if you want.
  3. Tap the Share button (square with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. Edit the name if you like (e.g. “NikahNoor”), then tap Add.

Tip: If you don’t see “Add to Home Screen”, swipe the share sheet upward to reveal more options. Chrome on iPhone cannot add PWAs the same way — use Safari.

Android (Chrome)

Works best in Google Chrome or Samsung Internet.

  1. Open Chrome and visit nikahnoor.com.
  2. Tap the menu (three dots) in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Confirm with Install or Add.

On some phones a banner appears at the bottom: “Install NikahNoor”. Tap it for a one-step install.

Computer (Chrome, Edge, Brave)

Install as a desktop app for quick access while browsing matches.

  1. Open nikahnoor.com in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (monitor with a download arrow), or open the browser menu.
  3. Click Install NikahNoor / Install app.
  4. Confirm. The app opens in its own window and can be pinned to your taskbar or dock.

After you install

  1. Open the NikahNoor icon from your Home Screen or app list.
  2. Log in with the same account you use on the website.
  3. Your privacy settings, blur photos and matches work exactly as before.

Installing the app does not give NikahNoor extra access to your phone beyond what the browser already allows. It is still the same secure website, opened in app mode.

Troubleshooting

  1. No “Add to Home Screen” on iPhone? Use Safari (not Chrome or Instagram’s in-app browser). Open the link in Safari first.
  2. No install option on Android? Update Chrome, visit the site over HTTPS, and try the browser menu again.
  3. Icon missing after install? Check a second Home Screen page or the App Library (iPhone) / app drawer (Android).
