Welcome to NikahNoor (“NikahNoor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a Muslim matrimonial platform operated at www.nikahnoor.com. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, apps, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using NikahNoor, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally able to enter into a marriage under the laws that apply to you.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your profile reasonably up to date.
• You may not create an account if you have been previously banned or removed from NikahNoor.

2. Account registration

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must not share your account or allow others to use it.
• Email/password accounts require email verification before full access.
• Google sign-in is subject to Google’s terms; we may treat Google-provided email as verified.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inactive for a long period.

3. Purpose of the Service

NikahNoor helps Muslim singles explore profiles, send interests, match, and message after mutual interest, with the goal of facilitating serious conversations toward nikah. We do not guarantee matches, responses, or marriage outcomes.

We are not a marriage bureau, wali, or legal advisor. Any decision to marry remains yours and your family’s responsibility.

4. Profile content and conduct

You agree that you will:

• Use the Service only for sincere matrimonial purposes.
• Represent yourself honestly (identity, marital status, age, location, and intentions).
• Upload only photos of yourself that you have the right to use.
• Communicate respectfully and appropriately.
• Not harass, threaten, scam, spam, or solicit money from other members.
• Not share private contact details of others without consent.
• Not post sexual, violent, hateful, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate content.
• Not use the Service for commercial advertising or recruitment without our written permission.
• Not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse our systems.

We may remove content, limit features, or ban accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice.

5. Interests, matches, and messaging

• Sending an interest does not create any obligation on the other person.
• Messaging is generally available only after both parties have accepted (a match).
• You may pass, decline, block, or report other users.
• We may limit message volume or features to reduce spam and protect members.

6. Verification and premium features

• Profile verification is optional unless we state otherwise. Submitting ID or selfie documents is voluntary for verification review.
• Verification does not mean we guarantee identity, character, or suitability for marriage.
• Premium or paid features (if offered) are subject to the pricing and terms shown at purchase. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Reports, blocks, and safety

• Use in-app Report and Block tools if someone behaves inappropriately.
• We review reports at our discretion and may take action we consider appropriate.
• False or malicious reports may lead to restrictions on your account.
• Always involve family or a trusted wali when conversations become serious, and meet only in safe, appropriate ways if you choose to meet offline.

NikahNoor is not responsible for the conduct of users offline. Trust but verify, and use your own judgment.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy.

Profile information you choose to share may be visible to other eligible members according to our product design (for example, Explore, Discover, and matches). Photos may remain blurred until match if a member enables that setting.

9. Intellectual property

The NikahNoor name, logo, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reuse our branding or code without permission.

You retain rights to content you upload, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any particular user is who they claim to be.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NikahNoor and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or interactions with other members.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50, if you have not paid us.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NikahNoor and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your conduct, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other members, or for operational or legal reasons.

Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date above will be revised when we publish material changes.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NikahNoor operates its primary business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
